Mexico Elections 2024 Results. Sheinbaum, a climate scientist and former mayor of mexico city, won the presidency with between 58.3% and 60.7% of the vote, according to a rapid sample count by mexico's electoral. Preliminary results show morena taking seven of the nine governorships up for grabs — including the most prominent, mexico city’s — and winning supermajorities in at least 22 of the 32 state.
